St Kilda rat catchers stuck

RAT catchers sent to St Kilda amid fears rodents would get ashore from a grounded trawler were trapped on the island yesterday.
The helicopter due to take Abbie Patterson and John Sinclair off the Atlantic archipelago was grounded by gale-force winds.

There were concerns rats could decimate bird colonies on St Kilda, after last Friday's grounding. So far, however, no rodents have been found on the island.

Thousands of so-called educated people don't know the meaning of DECIMATE. It seems that the most essential things are no longer being taught in schools today.
