St Kilda rat catchers stuck
RAT catchers sent to St Kilda amid fears rodents would get ashore from a grounded trawler were trapped on the island yesterday.
The helicopter due to take Abbie Patterson and John Sinclair off the Atlantic archipelago was grounded by gale-force winds.
There were concerns rats could decimate bird colonies on St Kilda, after last Friday's grounding. So far, however, no rodents have been found on the island.
