A 25,000-TONNE cargo ship which was stranded on a sandbank for almost 12 hours was refloated yesterday.
Five tugs pulled the ship free from the bank off Dumbarton Castle in the River Clyde at around 1am.

The Maltese-registered vessel became stuck at 1.30pm on Friday.
