Kerr concludes his switch to Aberdeen

ABERDEEN have completed the signing of former Dundee United midfielder Mark Kerr after he passed a medical.
The 26-year-old, who has joined the Pittodrie side on a two-year deal, trained with his new team-mates for the first time yesterday. Kerr, who spent five years at Tannadice, will be allocated squad number eight, previously utilised by Preston-bound Barry Nicholson.

I would have preferred to see him go south but he'll probably do a good job for the dons and return to haunt us....

Yeah right. Kerr didn't deserve the abuse he got from some Arabs, but any player talking up heading south and then taking the step down to the Dung Hill deserves to be castigated. Don's see how the sheep will view losing Nicholson and gaining Kerr as improving the squad.

Plus is everyone aware that we didn't actually offer Kerr a new contract, contrary to speculation?
