I always thought they were meant to cut hair.
The comment by #2 is snide and sarcastic and somewhat insensitive.
Do they really expect people who are at there lowest point to walk into a salon for a cut and colour; 'For the big day'?
Is it April 1st or something?
#4 Actually it is very common for those intent on suicide to appear quite normal and well balanced in the immediate period before they actually do it. Basically this is because they feel happier within themselves as they can see the "light at the end of the tunnel". So, getting a hair cut, smartening themselves up etc is not at all unusual behaviour and may be a warning sign for friends and relatives.
hmm, people who are suffering from shocking low self esteem are hardly likely to waste £120 on a cut and colour at PatersonSA. Nice thought though, and anything to help.
The thing that gets me is that it mentions taxi drivers are being trained to "help" the suicidal.
I don't know about you but I've been in a few Edinburgh taxis and I often fell like popping my clogs after being in the company of these millionaire depressed- beyond-tablets alocoholic suicidalists.
I've had one or two haircuts which made me feel suicidal.
I say sod em.
Is this a known phenomenom ? You get an expensive haircut before you top yourself ?
Thanks sassenach I will be on the lookout for Leithers with well groomed bouffants.
