A bit of a confusing article for most to read!
MP3 is NOT an apple iPod, MP3 has NOT got a hope in hell of being the superior of the iPod!

Any compressed sound data format will 'lose' detail and diminish quality. Ageing affects the ability to hear sounds. iPod is an over-priced and presently trendy way to consume music with a limited ability for the owner to control quality.

A licenced MP3 codec offers greater control and higher quality for compressing the music you have already paid for on disc, tape, cassette, 8-track etc.

They all 'fool' the 'hearing system' that's how they do it, but how clever!
A object you could 'just about swallow' holds 200+++++ tracks Plus pictures/photos!
