I take it that Margaret Cook's article is rather 'tongue in cheek' and 'whimsical' in its own way.

I agree - roll on when ALL MSPs are Independent without the Party Whips 'strutting their stuff' and snapping at their heels.

Meanwhile - watch out for all of those 'Alpha Females ' out there thirsty for power!

They are not all as they seem! Some are good and some are bad!

Cooke?
Mince?
Tripe?

Have I wandered into a Womens Institute meeting?

If the subject is politics here then state your politics constructively do not condem out of hand.

At the risk of sounding sexist. Man needs the calming influence of Woman. Somebody up there thought it was a good Idea to have 2 sexes.

I think tripe and mince are reasonable comment for this article. The decline of the Scotsman continues.

Cod-psychology dressed as sociology dressed as immensely tedious feminist self-help. Margaret Cook (note she kept the surname - wonder why?) should have stuck to haemotology. That way she could have been of positive help to those who really need it.

Robin's estrangement from this jump-on-the bandwagon woman interestingly occurred at the same time as my own divorce proceedings from a similarly self-serving harridan with a personal agenda to follow.

The article is light-headedly pointless.

Aye, Margaret Who indeed. And she's lived off it handsomely ever since. Some of the cringe-making crap she got in print immediately after the separation was, well, toe-curling.

And it goes on thanks to the Edinburgh press that indulges her. Not only herself either ... her beau has also done well out of her infamy. Shallow waters.

What's the time ...?
