Ha! This is very sad I would have to say. But I guess it is to be expected. Common men! Line up and donate to the world!! lol

Only one registered donor in the whole of Scotland?

Now I know what they mean when they say we are all Jock Thompson's bairns.

Keep up the good work Jock.

Suck-McCrunchie,

Bonny Bonny Banks of Overcharging 25/02/2007 01:59:30

I find it all a bit hard to swallow.

But just one in Scotland and 169 in England does really substantiate what we knew all along that they were a shower of...

Guga,

Rockall 25/02/2007 05:38:09

They might get more donors if they changed their method of obtaining it.

paul the binman,

25/02/2007 09:24:32

You mean there is a new way of obtaining it,please share as the old way is a right pain in the wrist

JG,

Maybe the guys are afraid someone will knock on their door one day and ask for back-dated maintenance payments!!!!

heather fae the hills,

a bonny fresh morning 25/02/2007 09:41:24

You are right Lisa.
With so few registered doners, what are the chances of half brothers and sisters meeting and forming relationships in the future?

#7 Now that's a scarey thought Heather.

9

Scaramouche,

Maybe, they should organise mothers into a Night-time Emission Collection Squad, prowling around their teenage sons' sleep??

The Proud Chauvanist,

The Wash 25/02/2007 13:02:46

It only needs the introduction of a law that protects doners from the accusations of the money grubbing haridans of the womens rights brigade

#11 The Proud Chauvinist
It would actually be into the "money grubbing" hands of their issue, fruit of their loins - even it did come via a plastic cup and a turkey baster!

13

Erse,

Middle East 25/02/2007 15:37:32

That's the problem with society these days - nobody gives a toss!

14

Ken M,

Stenhousemuir 25/02/2007 15:47:33

Why not let legallised prostitutes sell knotted used condoms to sperm banks? The banks would surely overflow.

Having said that, we really should be questioning the ethics and morals of sperm donation. Who wants a syringe as a father and a feminist or lesbian as a mother?

Maybe people should just accept it if they can't get pregnant. Sad though it may be for those desperately wanting kids, it's not a right. There are more important things for the medical profession to be doing.

18

MoragtheToerag,

Embra 25/02/2007 20:50:48

Duh!

Who wants somebody turning up in 18 years and wanting to know their sperm donor dad?

19

IWright,

Edinburgh 25/02/2007 23:23:04

So few Scottish donors, I thought merchant banking was a growth industry?

20

Conan,

Here 26/02/2007 00:59:37

I am willing to fill that need.
