Thank you for this article. I would like to know why it did not appear in the issue of the paper which I bought this morning in Fife? We did get a nice big picture of David receiving his silver bear!

I love David Mackenzie's other films - The Last Great Wilderness, Young Adam and Asylum - and I have been waiting impatiently for Hallam Foe to be shown here in Scotland so that I can see it. David Mackenzie is a very talented director who makes excellent, thought-provoking films and I am pleased to see that this one is getting such good publicity at this stage. The film has also secured distribution deals, something many independent films struggle to do.

I can understand why this film might not appeal to everyone but has Onlooker actually seen any of David's films?
