The link was found by an Edinburgh evening news reader on yesterdays blog - perhaps the police used that information to assist them.

Quite hilarious really, supplying your own video evidence of your crime.

I hope crime stoppers give the guy a big reward for helping there investigation.

Don't know that Kenny himself, if indeed it was him who took the footage (which in turn can't be proven), is responsible of any crime. I can't say because I haven't seen the footage but filming the events probably made it a little difficult for him to get involved.

Indeed, if Kenny decides to take responsibility, and the culprits are brought to book I think he should be rewarded for assisting police with their enquiries ;-)

[21] You're right, short-sighted is right too. If the guy was there, taking pictures, he was taking part. Aiding and abetting can be made just as serious as the crime itself.

In some jurisdictions, a collection of >2 people doing something like this would be deemed a conspiracy. Not only does conspiracy sound more serious, the courts take an even dimmer view of it.

Yesterday, this took a LOT of searching before I found it. Like yourself I was curious to see what our local kids done to entertain themselves and other locals. It was disgusting to watch. You could see the staff and customers were badly shaken by the gangs voilent behaviour
I looked again today and found it has been removed by the user.... wonder why, was he/she too disgusted to have their wee prank aired to their waiting public?
I hope their parents had a chance to have wee look to see what their kids got up to .
I am a parent myself and know how difficult it is to know where they are 24/7. But it costs nothing to ask before they walk out the door, and to phone them on their mobiles to check if they're NOT wrecking a Mcdonalds or Burger King from time to time (and hope they're not doing their latest Stephen Speilberg at the time from said machine !). Question them when they come home to see if anything seems amiss.
My husband and I are not the greatest parents, but ours have turned out fine, all said and done with the occasional ear bashing either from the hand or verbaly.
If this is the adults of the future, God help the lot of us.
