Get into a really lively christian church, there's a few around, and get hands- laid- on. It may sound old fashioned but it works. The pastor and elders lay-on-hands and pray and The Holy Spirit does the rest. A thousand times better than any library book or medication. Medications can take you to the bottom with health problems and dont fix the trouble... but God does remarkably. Assembly of God is a good church group. Any of the pentecostal/ charismatic churches. Frequently mental problems as in a "voice in the head" are an evil spirit brought in because of sin. Masturbation and sexual immorality are an open door to oppression by evil spirits. Scotland, with its darker side, ought to know about evil spirits.

This project was launched as the result of a successful medical trial. What evidence do you have, Graeme Gibson, that the laying on of hands is a thousand times better than any book or medication?

Your assertion that mental problems, mastnrbation and sexual immorality are brought about by evil spirits is interesting. Perhaps you'd like to share that evidence?

Whenever I bash the bishop I make sure there's no-one around - temporal or corporeal. To date, I've never been caught by the ghoulies.

Deep Brain Electrolysis would surpass both #1 and #2 suggestions. If only someone could invent a quicker, less painfull way of getting the electrodes into the control centre of the human brain. You could zap all the unwanted/anti-social activities described above by a remote control device much like you change the channel on your plasma TV. Dr William Riddle has some experience in dealing with schizophrenia and I wonder if he thinks Deep Brain Electrolysis could be a wonder cure for some of his more long term patients?
