Of course a 10m high turbine would not say "HERE IS TESCO" to passers by. Sounds to me like an advertising ploy.

Good point.
I've no doubt the TESCO board when discussing it said good idea it might do nothing for the environment but it will provide a very visible advert for our store.
They have already got mention (a free advert) in The Scotsman
