This does not surprise me. If the bullying in NHS Lothian is not fixed then morale will become worse. NHS Lothian can't keep staff because they are all bullied out and it is all good people! Many of the nurses have no interpersonal skills whatsoever, hence the complaints "Among the most recent batch, 84 related to clinical treatment, 54 to the attitude and behaviour of staff".

GET THE BULLYING SORTED NHS LOTHIAN PLEASE?

Bullying is rife at the WGH especially among admin & clerical staff. Many of the good staff have left due to the attitude towards new members of staff. Low salaries and inflexible working conditions and nowhere to park contribute to this situation along with bad management. Find better properly trained managers and get rid of the staff who have been there for years and will not change in any respect.

and have made a tremendous effort in recruitment and in developing family-friendly flexible working arrangements.

Recruitment is open days for the job centre to send the unemployed where they are guaranteed a job! as well as any overseas workers. Not all applicants make great nurses but as NHS Lothain are short staffed, they will employ anyone.
