Conan,

I suppose I could spend some time lamenting the passing of this exceptionally brave chap - and I personally thank him for chosing to by in uniform and working so hard to be the best of the best.

BUT ......

I have to wonder why these days we are still fighting like it was 1942.

The point is it seems we should have the means to use stand-off weapong to take out whoever or whatever needs to be targeted ----- instead of putting valuable people at rish when a lump of metal and electronics could do the job more efficiently.

Cost of war. Mr Brown, you would do good to withdraw your invaders and work towards peace. I know, I been to war. Nobody wins except the weapons manufacturers.

Every soldier (boy) that dies is unreplaceable.
What a disgutsing headline.
