Climate policy (an oxymoron, but never mind) is not alone in exhibiting this. MPs are guilty of the worst excesses of pandering to public opinion via the soundbite and the need to be "seen doing something" even if it is totally ineffective.

It leaves you wondering just what use these people are in a world that demands more than bluster and verbiage in dealing the the complex issues that face not just the country but have worldwide impact.

Gorebull warming IS man made. It's 100 percent made in computer models. But if you go outside into the real world nature is taking it's course. The earth has been warming sense the last cold period. The downside is that when it stops warming it will start cooling and it's back to the ice age. I'll take the warm period thank you.
