Hmm... I have known Jamie since we were students and have never found him to be standoffish at all, quite the opposite.
Or, perhaps only to the sort of people who have nothing better to say about him than irrelevant personal comments in a public forum on the topic of his outstanding courage and hard work for disabled charities. Can't say I blame him.
