Who on earth would want to download anything the BBC put on the box? I have to pay over £100 a year for the privalege of NOT watching the BBC. If I don't I would get fined £2,000 or put in prison... What the hell is that all about. I don't mind paying for SKY TV it provides everything I want. BBC news only reports what it thinks us as viewers SHOULD know, whereas the SKY news channels cover the whole world and is very informative and also provide any type of programme I would like to watch, when I want to watch it. I think its about time the BBC realise they cannot intimidate people any more and put an end to their superiority complex, which is totally unjustified.

And what a cheek calling it an iPlayer - it doesn't even work with Macs (or Linux or UNIX or handhelds or phones etc.).
