And this investigation will lead to the exposure of yet another pile of Blair/Labour/London lies, deception and cover ups.

Yes, it probably will.
I see Glasgow & Prestwick were conveniently kept out of the recent ACPO inquiry into rendition flights in the UK ... another whitewash in true traditional style.
I wonder if our own ACOPS would give their backing to the 'no rendition flights' result on Westminster orders ...

1) When a Scottish guy was arrested and jailed in Saudi Arabia a few years ago the SNP said nothing.
2) The Australian guy Hicks has been released from Guatanamo Bay and there has been no signs of torture - unless you have evidence.
3) Salmonds and MacAskills refusal to support Scottish soldiers in Afghanistan kind of tells the rest of us what kind of 'nationalists' they are.
4) Salmond was quite happy sharing a platform with George Galloway, the unionist, who incited arabs to rise up and kill British and American soldiers.
5) Galloway supports the Syrian government which practices torture and jails people withour trial.
Here's the story from Amnesty International

Funny how the SNP voters go quiet over Syrian torture and Galloways support for Syria.
W Smith, Middle East #what has your diatribe to do with the artical? When have civilian airports been the only places that "Charlie's Indians" have and still use to do their refueling.Remember this is their non moving landing strip and has been since they had aircraft that could cross the pond.Air America, have been landing at all places in Scotland for the past 20 years.
If they manage to stop the US war criminals - I'll join the SNP right away!
The Casa 212 has a typical range of 750 miles to 1,050 miles. Where else did this aircraft land besides Narsarsuaq between leaving Goose Bay on the morning of 31 May and arriving at Mildenhall on the afternoon of 2 June? Reykjavik? Wick? Stornoway? Glasgow? Prestwick? Etc, etc?
Have MSP's nothing better to do - this is a complete waste of taxpayers money.
#11 Halitosisdid Robin Cook not tell the truth before he was murdered.
Great many of us believe that Robin Cook was murdered by authorites to silence him. He has blasted US and Blair for immoral Iraq invasion. Now These CIA torture flight on his radar also. He was about to reveal extent of Europe's involments in kidnapping Moslams and taking them to secret jails for torture in Poland and Romania. Abu Ghraib and Guantanamo are examples of American values.
George Galloway, that well known Scottish Nationalist eh?????????I think you will find that all Scots support our soldiers abroad, they just don't support the reasons for them being in certain countries. And I would be wary of any enquiry set up by the Westminster mob!
#W Smith, Middle East
Will you still be supportive of "rendition flights" when such a policy if not checked inevitably creeps into other areas, perhaps to circumvent extradition treaties or even to transport a journalist from one country to another for questioning just because they wrote a critical article ?
If these rendition flights are all so acceptable to Governments, then why bother to hide it, and go to the lengths they have to cover it up ?
Surely the public would be quite happy with Government policy ? or not ?
Let the inquiry go where the facts lead and then we can decide what, if anything, may have been done wrong.
One thing though, we have to understand that our conventional and long-established laws and rules were never intended to deal with the likes of the typed of terrorists we are now confronting .... who use those very laws and rules as a weakness and weapon against us.
The current laws and rules will needs to changed - because the entire landscpae has changed.
Fortunately for us all, the US is way out in front of this new development ..... TY US, again, for helping us see the light. especially for those among us who stubornly refuse to see the light because of our out-dated hated of all things 'US' and good.
