Stealth laws to go along with their stealth taxes. Joe Stalin would have been really proud of the totalitarians in the New Labour numpty party.

FAO 4. Guga II,

Stalin had said one death was a trajedy - but a million was a statistic.

So, while currently Stalin leads the death count, I wonder if Bliar's total will pass him with his farce in Iraq, and the resultant terrorist acts of those affronted by this.

However, Stalin at the same time provided quality housing for the majority of Soviet city dwellers (referred to as Stalins), while Blair is about to leave office with someone on average income being unable to enter the property market in our major cities.

Lastly, while Stalin persecuted Kulaks, are we about to discover Tony offered ours knighthoods for funding the party?

overregulation, disregard for democratic procedure and debate, lack of attention to the wishes and concerns of the people, and failure to implement and observe existing laws before new ones are promulgated, all breed contempt for the law, increased "criminality", and "lawlessness"... in effect this control freakish government (which now will by all signs become even more control obsessed under Brown), is directly contributing to the breakdown in society's complaince with the law. No wonder a majority of people believe that the Law is an Ass.

# 8 Well said!
shivago8, are you still taking the Prozac?

A Sadder Place, the country has become a scarier place since B-liar did away with democracy.

What is the point of having a Parliament if the PM can change the rules to suit without consultation of said Parliament?
That isn't democracy that is dictatorship and the sooner the Labour Party is kicked into touch the better!
