Really sad for your newest dead soldier, really. Bush needs to be tried for war crimes. many of my friends are over there, and almost none feels that we are doing any good. See IAVA.org and you will see eyepopping facts.

Scotsman, this is a quoted message from"Hadith, Volume 4 Book 52 # 80i narrated by Abu Huraira;. Allah's apostle" Allah welcomes two men with a smile; One of whom kills the other and both of them enter the paradise. One who fights in allah's cause and gets killed. Later on allah forgives the killer who also get martyred ( in allah's cause)" So, killing is welcome in Islam even their own brothers. For those who disagree, as i said, blame the americans again to make you happy.

Idealism and Realism in the American Foreign Policy in Iraq only resulted in massive shed and close to civil war scenario in the region. The U.S. while trying to propagate democracy created a surge of instability in the region. A new perspective in American Foreign Policy is needed to ease the tension in Iraq!

The conflict in Iraq, which is resulting in the loss of life of many thousands of people is a direct result of the Bush , Blair partnership.

Both men refused to take heed of the Hans Blix report, which stated that Iraq had NO weapons of mass destruction. By failing to listen to the report it is obvious that they were going to war for alterior motives anyway, regardless of the destruction and carnage it was going to cause.

It is therefore, absolutely vital that the two men are convicted of humanitarian violations and jailed for a long long time.

Theirs is not a war fought for the good of the people, or for democracy in Iraq. It is a war of power, greed and sheer disrespect.

If the two men, Bush and Blair were really as concerned with humanitarian attrocities they would have been in Zimbabwe a long time ago, not to mention every other African country.

It is doubtful that anything will happen to bring the two men to justice, but one has hope that it will occur.

I have commented on the Iraq issue on a few occassions and I always compare the death toll to that of South Africa's..

We are all apalled by the events unfolding in Iraq, and rightly so. But does anybody realise that the next football world cup is being hosted in SA, a country in which 80 people are murdered every day and a further 52 000 raped every year.?

80 people per day, times 7 = 560 per week times 4 is over 2000 per month..When one considers that 1300 died in Iraq last month you begin to understand the problem and ask why it is that FIFA allowed this to happen.

The answer = POLITICS!

Like Iraq, politics rules the day.

Sir/Madam:
What Sunnies did was atrocious. Naturally this reaction was expected.

Between Shias and Sunnies especially Suadi Arabian Wahabi version, most of us prefer Shias.

And in Iraq, majoirty Shias were ruled with frequent genocides by the minority Sunnies. Iraqi Shias need to have their own nation and this should include the Shia majority areas of Saudi Arabia too.

Bias, and more bias. The press can barley move in Iraq without getting shot and most of the reporting is done from the Green Zone (a bubble), how do they know who was behind the car bombs (not suicide bombs)??

Why does the media generalize saying "Shiite" militias, when in fact most of the "death squads" are made of Iraqi Police trained by Americans (uniforms...) ? And what about the Kurds in the north who have been trained for some years by Israel and USA? Why doesn't anyone mention them in relation to the apparent civil war in Iraq?

What a mess. There was no reason to invade Iraq. We in the US should have listened to the French instead of vilifying them. Now we are left with some hard choices, none of which are ideal: stay with no way to achieve victory or leave and watch the retribution between Sunnis and Shiites spin completely out of control...

I believe that you are all eating too much tripe, because it's starting to come out of your mouths.

Bush and Blair war criminals? You people are insane. The war criminal is Saddam and he's on trial. Besides you people should be aware of what a war crimininal is before you start spouting off. Bush and Blair have NOT broken the Geneva Convention. The same can not be said of the enemy.

Stick to domestic issues if you don't understand international politics. Just eat your haggis and shut up.

Let's see - who is responsible for more deaths: saddam hussein, or bush/blair?

#7,
The Kurds have stayed out of it and have benefited hugely by this course of action.
I have spoken to many Kurds about this. Kurdistan is being rebuilt and will prosper. If the Sunnis and Shiites manage to finish each other off completely, then the Kurds can take over the whole country.

#9,
I agree with what you say, but please do not offend people.

Cool,

That would be the best solution..no.11...not likey to happen but if only eh!.....the Muslims are just catching up with our Prod/Catholic madness of many Centuries ago...when u turn Religon into a Death Cult,as many Muslims do,I cant see it being brought to an end..so many "players"involved..& the ones with real influence, are all backward looking Fanatics..
