It seems if you don't belong to any of the Big Four ... Christianity, Islam, Judaism and Buddhism ... then your beliefs are just plain daft and possibly (probably) open for ridicule.

And the media are the worst for exploiting this!

I could say that Christian masses and services are very strange ... or the way Jews and Muslims very odd to my sensibilities.

But I don't ... each to their own ... and everyone should learn to respect others' beliefs.

By belief is meant a leap of faith, a jump without reason or evidence. How can one respect that?

If a believer is born in the West, the chances are he will be a Christian. If he is born in Iran, he will be a Muslim. If he were born in Egypt 3,000 years ago, he would have worshipped Ra or whomever. Faith that depends on one's time and place, what one might dub 'Postcode Belief' – how can that have any truth? How on earth can one respect it?

Rubbersnap, whenever a report of child porn or paedophilia is reported, they also give details about the individuals involved...teacher, uncle, cub leader, etc. In this case the individual was part of a pagan commune and the other members were called as witnesses.

I am a friend of Sirona Knight, another author who Freya Aswynn falsely claimed stole her writing. Aswynn and her publisher at Llewellyn Worldwide in the United States sued Sirona for not including a bibliography in her Little Giant Enclyclopedia of Runes, even though Sirona did indeed submit one when she turned in the manuscript to her publisher, Sterling. Sirona has been told by several pagan friends that Aswynn has been doing black magic death spells against Sirona since 2002. These spells were included in Aswynn's Llewellyn book, something which I find extremely offensive. And now to find out she's a child pornographer as well. Perhaps her publisher knows where to locate Aswynn. Why doesn't the Scottish police contact her publisher and find out if they know where she is? How many more people are going to be harmed by Aswynn?

This author has written several books that I know of; like all authors she uses material from other books; where this material has been re-used many times, as is the case with tarot and astrology, for example, this is fair enough; the runes are a different matter. Edred Thorsson, Freya Aswynn & KveldulfR Gundarsson all contributed new materials & insights in their books in the 1980's; I am familiar with all their work & have read Sirona Knights book on runes; she used material by all 3 authors, but especially Aswynns "Leaves of Yggdrasil". There is no acknowledgement to any of them & she implies this is all her own research. Llewellyn took her to court for plagiarism & won their case. Sterling have been in business long enough to know better about author acknowledgements. Perhaps Sirona should sue them?

I edited Sirona Knight's manuscipt for the Little Giant Encyclopedia of Runes and she did indeed send in documentation to Sterling, acknowledging all of her sources, particularly Edred Thorson and Freya Aswynn. If you look at any Little Giant Encyclopedia, you will they do not have bibliograpies. Sirona did not know that when she submitted her manuscript to them. They deleted all acknowlegements. The case that Llewellyn brought against her never went to court. Her lawyer told her it would cost over $40,000 up front to go to court. Do you have that kind of money? She doesn't. Lewellyn's lawyers took $12,000 from Sirona (through her book royalties over the next 8 years) and Sterling's lawyers took over $85,000 (through her book royalties for the next century). The only people who won anything were the lawyers. So now you're defending a child pornographer and using her to slander Sirona Knight. That's really choice! Sirona has information from fellow Wiccan authors that much of the things Aswynn did against Bernard King, she also did to Sirona such as death threats and black magic. Are you condoning this behavior?

This is Freya Aswynn. Just a quick response to some of the comments.
The allegations of me downloading and porn is laughable, and therefore not worthy of a response.
Accusations of malicious magic, well I use what I am given to redress any harm inflicted on my or mine. This is my inalienable right as a human/animal being.
Some use the law; some use the fist; I use my Mind.
However, the few times I did use my abilities it has always been a response. I never initiate but always retaliate!


The plagiarism issue however is a different matter. As part of the settlement received by me I had to sign a non-disclose agreement, and therefore am unable to comment on any details.
I cam however refer you to a url which will show those whose mind are open enough to look and think for themselves the veracity of my claims.

It sounds like Ms. Aswynn is trying to excuse her behavior of downloading 5,518 pornographic images on a 15 year old girl's computer. These images depict adults having sex with children. I find this behavior vile and disguisting even if you were trying to extract some kind of revenge from another writer, Bernard King. I don't think using children in this foul way is acceptable under any circumstances. If you're so innocent of these charges why don't you turn yourself over to the Scottish Police and have your day in court?

I have been in touch with the Scottish police all along, they know exactly where I am and I did indeed offer to come over but I needed at least a months notice to find somene to look after my animals.

What day in court, I haven't been charged with anything.
Anyway, how would I be able to download anything on BK'omputer, you need password and thinks like that.
so the question is, a)why would I and b) how?
