Does anyone else think this is a 'news' story which epitomises the dumbing down of The Scotsman - or am I being unrealistic?
it's a trivial 'human interest' story. An Edinburgh punter can read this and think 'Gosh, aren't some people weird? But, hey, I'm not. I'm normal!'
>>I can't wait for the first time somebody asks me what my name is."<<

Hardly news, hardly an item, hardly in the public interest. He is plainly a nutcase, and as long as he is not a dangerous one, nothing to do with anyone else. Now if the headline read"James Dr No From Russia with Love Goldfinger Thunderball You Only Live Twice On Her Majesty's Secret Service Diamonds Are Forever Live and Let Die The Man with the Golden Gun The Spy Who Loved Me Moonraker For Your Eyes Only Octopussy A View to a Kill The Living Daylights Licence to Kill Golden Eye Tomorrow Never Dies The World Is Not Enough Die Another Day Casino Royale Bond, buysDB5 and PPK" Then their might be a story
