Considering the pronunciation of the English language has some merit.

It is language that can be pleasing to the ear.

In Australia, pronunciation is not a big issue, rather the abuse of the meaning of words is a more disheartening reminder of the increasing potency of perverts and or nihilists.

One Government funded radio host, recently argued that two words, namely fuck and and a word for a part of female anatomy starting with C ,be accepted in common use.

Yes, there is lots of meaning in the changed meaning of words.
In Australia, "SOUL" is the name of the highest building.
The correct or incorrect pronunciation is a relatively trivial issue.
