Watching footage of executions in China on Sky news this morning, I can't help but feel grateful that our freedom to protest at all has been protected down the years by the very weapons that these women have spent their rather unproductive lives against. The point that both myself and colin were trying to make was why do these militant lesbians have to label themselves in order to make a point? I was there over the past few days- I didnt see a banner with Lesbian Feminist on it , not that its an issue but the writer of the article has obviously thrown that in to spice the article up and by the looks of it it obviously ruffled a few readers given their focus on protesters being lesbian feminists rather than non violent peace protestors. As for being on the dole and not looking for work some readers obviously dont get the jist that regardless of employment status all sorts of people are anti trident protestors. I work hard claim no benefits and I am an anti trident non violent peace protestor.
