France's oldest soldier dies at 110

LOUIS DE Cazenave, France's oldest man, died yesterday at the age of 110.
The death of the First World War veteran, who refused a medal and spoke powerfully about the horrors of war, leaves just one veteran from the conflict, also aged 110. Mr de Cazenave died at home in Brioude, central France.

After seeing the horrors of the trenches during WWI this old soldier must have depaired that the human race learned nothing from it except more efficient ways to kill each other. RIP sir
