Were we to get 4 points from the opening 2 games, I would like to think that this would be an steady start. Anymore, would represent a big achievement. Of late, last campaign excluded, we have been a bit slow out the blocks.
Anyway, lets get behind the boys and hope we are all in a mad rush to book flights to South Africa in 18 months time

If we get 6 points I'll be delighted, Macedonia are excellent at home and even a point will be an achievement. If we were to lose that one then we'd be heading to Iceland with the pressure to take three points and you know how Scotland perform away from home against so called weaker sides when the pressure is on.
Saturday will define the campaign entirely.

A draw in Macedonia would be a reasonable result. In the last campaign they took points off Croatia and England, and in the qualifiers before took two draws off Holland. They do have a tendency to blow hot and cold though, as they have also lost to Andorra. A winnable but tricky game. They have one top class player in Pandev of Lazio but 3 points has to be the target.
Iceland are pretty poor and we should be looking for all 3 points, but they do throw in the odd shock result so we need to make sure we approach the game right. their style of football shouldn't unduly trouble us though.
Optimistic of a minimum of 4 points.

Burley is going to feel the heat alright.I`m afraid the heat he`ll feel will not be of the sun but more likely to be of a paper sun.He may feel it even warmer in Iceland too.All conjecture but highly likely.

Kirk Broadfoot in a Scotland squad?
Would love to hear Rangers fans defend this one.
