Pakistan support for al-Qaeda falls

SYMPATHY for al-Qaeda and the Taleban has dropped sharply in Pakistan amid a wave of violence.
In a new poll, 24 per cent approved of al-Qaeda's leader, Osama bin Laden, compared with 46 per cent in August.

AQ has worn out its welcome in Iraq and Pakistan. The much scoffed at American tactic of winning hearts and minds stands in stark contrast to AQ's relentless barbarism. Wherever they go violence and heartbreak follow close behind. They are losing and they know it.

So the Pakistani's have figured out, much like the Sunni and Shia population of Iraq, that 'Al Quada' is a bunch of religious fanatics that is merely using them for their own ends?

Sounds like progress is being made, despite the hopes of the 'pocket revolutionaries' and 'Cher Guevara's' that comment here so often.

So, does it mean that they're gonna hand this bionic over any time soon? Because simply I am losing my hard earned faith in our rodeo-clown in chief to capture this piece of ... dead, alive, salvaged, total or even in semi-comatose condition!
