ISRAEL'S education minister was accused yesterday of calling her predecessor a "piece of crap" in parliament.
In an education committee exchange shown on live TV, Ronit Tirosh told Michael Melchior, the chairman: "She just called me a piece of crap" – a reference to the education minister, Yuli Tamir, sitting next to her. Ms Tamir claimed all she said was she had to clean up the "garbage" Ms Tirosh left behind in the ministry.
