KUWAIT'S parliament voted yesterday to increase to £954 million a state fund designed to help citizens settle personal debts after deputies said a £573 million fund set up in December was not sufficient.
The fund is to help Kuwaitis indebted from shopping sprees if their monthly repayments exceed half of their pay cheques.
