#3 - to answer your question: Nein.
Germany play in white, sometimes struggle, but generally get to the final.
England play in white, sometimes struggle, but only get to the final when it's at Wembley and the year ends in '66.
Germany doesn't have a Golden Generation who cannot play.
Germany's best goalkeeper might be over the hill and accident-prone, but he's not called: "Calamity".
Their best midfielders at club level CAN play together at international level.
They can take penalties.
Berti Vogts excepted, their coaches can coach.
Both Germany's and England's followere may prefer shaven heads and tattooes, but, the Germans haven't been into invading and razing other European nations to the ground for at least 65 years.
OK once the Germans do take over an other country, they don't leave until the final whistle of the final game - England generally goes home no later than the quarter-finals.
England in disguise - partially but not totally.

Ironically, very few fans outside the ground in Switzerland saw the dramatic finale to the game, either in Germany or Turkey.
Screens were blank when Semih Senturk pulled off what looked like another Turkey escape act with an 86th-minute equaliser but images returned in time for viewers to watch Lahm eliminate Turkey with his late strike.
Not true. there was no loss of pi,cture in Turkey. there was a short period when the only camera working seemed to be at one end of the stadium but all the goals and drama were broadcast live in Turkey on atv and Digiturk.
