THE trial of an Edinburgh man facing allegations of child abuse in Albania has been delayed because the court had no translator.
David Brown has appeared in court in the Albanian capital Tirana to face allegations of abuse at the His Children home, which he ran there.

Mr Brown, 56, has spent more than 22 months in jail awaiting trial and has denied any wrongdoing, insisting he uncovered the abuse in the orphanage.

Mr Brown's lawyer Gjystina Golloshi said the most recent court session was cancelled because there was no interpreter or translator. It is expected Mr Brown will appear in court again on Wednesday.

The man ran an orphanage in Albania without being able to speak the language! Man, that must've been hard.
