LUXURY flats are being built in Berlin with parking spaces more than 100ft in the air.
Called CarLofts, they have a car lift that lets residents park in a garage beside their home.
Drivers can avoid street parking, dark garages and the inconvenience of carrying groceries a long way.
"People buying the CarLoft are considering security, convenience and luxury," said developer Johannes Kauka.
The flats cost from £425,000 to more than £1.3 million, and are due to be completed at the end of the year.
The area they are in, Kreuzberg, has a reputation for housing anarchists who like to torch luxury cars parked on the street; last weekend two Porsches were destroyed.
