Scot remanded on rape charges

A SCOT was remanded in custody yesterday by magistrates in Aldershot, Hampshire, charged with repeatedly raping and stabbing a 21-year-old woman as she walked home from a pub in the town early on Sunday.
Paul Brown, 22, of Kirriemuir, Angus, was charged with two counts of rape, two counts of attempted rape and one count of assault.
