A police constable, cleared of any wrongdoing after he was captured on video hitting a black mother-of-one as he tried to arrest her, has died after being airlifted off a mountain.
PC Anthony Mulhall, of South Yorkshire Police, was reported missing on Wednesday and died in hospital yesterday after he was found on Mount Snowdon, in North Wales.

PC Mulhall was removed from frontline duties in March last year after he hit Toni Comer, 21.

In December, the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) and the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) decided no South Yorkshire officer would be charged over the incident.
