A 21-YEAR OLD man suspected of 16 offences of child porn in Britain has been detained in Prague, Czech police said yesterday.
They said in a statement that the British national was arrested on Tuesday on a warrant issued by British authorities three weeks ago.
He is suspected of having sexually abused children, manufacturing and possessing pornography involving children and other offences in Britain between 2003 and 2006, the statement said.
Police said yesterday the man lived in hiding in a rented apartment in Prague for two years before his arrest and was now in custody awaiting extradition proceedings.
