Scottish Water loses 924m litres

SCOTTISH Water lost 924 million litres of water through leakages in the year 2007-8, some 80 million less than the previous year. The company originally targeted a figure of 854 million litres and acknowledged the shortfall.
Chief executive Richard Ackroyd said: "I want to reassure our customers that all our efforts will be intensified."
