STAFF at the National Library of Scotland have been voted the healthiest in Scotland thanks to a series of unique initiatives.
As well as the usual jogging clubs and five-a-side tournaments, employees at NLS's various city buildings are given classes to help quit smoking, free Tai Chi, reflexology and regular health checks. These have been brought in over the last year or so.

The library's Julie Black said: "Since these things have come in people have talked about noticing an increase in their health."
