Joint approach to cutting crime

A MAJOR joint agency operation was launched in Edinburgh city centre yesterday to cut crime and tackle antisocial behaviour over the summer.
Operation Assure involves police, the city council, British Transport Police and parking attendants from NCP Services Ltd.

Patrols will monitor areas where there may be alcohol-related disorder.
