BUNNY Girls and a bride and groom were among the hardy revellers plunging into the icy waters of the Firth of Forth for the New Year's Day Loony Dook at South Queensferry.
Around 500 people in fancy dress braved rain and freezing fog to take part in the 22nd annual charity event held near the Forth Rail Bridge.
Katrina Henderson, from Falkirk, one of the seven-strong bunny group who raised £450 for the Mouth Cancer Foundation, said: "I'm not even feeling cold – I suppose the less you wear when you come out of the water, the warmer you are when you get some clothes on."
Jonathan and Helen Briggs, from Edinburgh, who married two days before the dook, donned duplicate wedding outfits to mark the occasion.
