Europe against GM animals for food

A EUROPEAN Union survey yesterday showed 58 per cent of Europeans believe cloning animals for food production should never be justified.
The poll highlights a transatlantic rift as the United States government said last month it would consider proposals to sell genetically engineered animals as food.

Which Europeans did it talk to, which did it exclude, was it simply a yes/no question?? Survey results should never be published as "showing" anything unless the methodology, questionnaire and allowed survey population are published alongside (or in summary).

Well, we'll know who's right when fluorescent Americans turn up at the known tourist spots. On the other hand they might be useful in keeping down energy bills. Use them as headlights?
