THE production company behind Big Brother and Deal or No Deal has created a reality TV show where staff at struggling companies get to choose which colleagues should be fired.
Someone's Gotta Go has been sold to Fox TV in the United States, where production has already begun. Dutch firm Endemol also hopes to broadcast the programme in other countries.

Last night, the show was criticised by unions who said it was wrong to treat redundancy as "entertainment". Each episode will focus on a small business where the management has decided to cut one employee.

Not really surprising this considering the total dross they serve up as entertainment these days. No doubt channel 4 or sky will be bidding for the rights.

Yet more cheap to produce rubbish...

Presumably those taking part will have had to agree in advance that they don't have a problem with being humiliated in front of millions?

Can't we have a phone in each week to fire a government minister? ITV can get Ant and Dec to host the most popular reality show in British TV.

Phone:

0800 878001 Gordon
0800 878002 Jacqui
0800 878003 Darling
...

All calls are free.
Lines never close.
