PRINCESS Anne will be the guest of honour at the Edinburgh Tattoo tonight.
Her Royal Highness will take the salute at the world famous event, which is in its 57th year.
The visit marks the first year of Princess Anne's patronage of the annual showpiece.
She is also Colonel-in-Chief of The Royal Scots Borderers, who are taking part in the sold-out Tattoo.
