PRINCE Harry grins today as he receives his first Army campaign medal from his aunt, the Princess Royal.
A total of 170 members of the Household Cavalry Regiment were decorated for their service in Afghanistan at Combermere Barracks in Windsor.

His girlfriend Chelsy Davy lined up alongside senior members of the royal family in the front row, chatting and laughing with Prince William.

Harry, 23, who is known as Lieutenant Wales in the Army, served in Helmand Province during this year's deployment.

The prince's planned four-month tour of duty was cut short after ten weeks in February when a news blackout agreement broke down and details of his deployment were reported around the world.

Hurray for Harry and his heroic service to the country.

Her Britannic Majesty must be very proud of her grandchild.
