Did anyone actually abide by the ban on contraception anyway? How was it policed? What would happen to you if you got caught breaking the rules?

It all seems pretty damn rediculous to me.

1# It is ridiculous. In biblical terms where you would think the church would get it's ideas from. It is purly a matter of personal choice. I challenge any priest to come on here and tell me where in the bible it says you should not use contraception. Everything about this silly church is just plain stupid.
