Obese man left helpless

A MAN weighing 34 stone was saved by his drinking friends after lying helpless on the floor of his flat in Germany for a week over the New Year.
The man fell while he was getting out of bed and broke his leg.

Because of his size, he was unable to get himself up and get help. His cries for help went unnoticed at his block of flats in Mannheim.

However, regulars at his pub discovered him on Monday evening after they missed him at their watering hole.

A fire department team eventually rescued the obese man and transported him to hospital.

It is eye-opening for me to read how insensitive and cruel some posters are on this forum.

This newsitem is perfect for "fat" jokes and I am sure there will be many more tasteless posting throughout the day.

Just shows how self-righteous and insensate some persons are.

Jesus how many mates does this guy have, it would take quite a few to lift a 35 stone man of the floor let alone get him to hospital, and when you do get him there where the bl**dy hell do you put him a standard hospital bed would buckle under that stress.

At least though his drinking buddies missed him enough to go rescue him.

#3 Cabe. Sure do, you need a really strong deodorant squire and a mouthwash would do you the world of good.Stagnant pond life usually does give off a repulsive odour.

Luckily for many of the people commenting on this blog IQ is not a visible characteristic like weight. If it were you would give everyone a good laugh.

Whatever you consider fat,many certainly consider 34 stone to be almost criminally obese.You must be one of those folk who overflow into the next seat on an aircraft? Fat is one thing, but grossly, clinically obese to an extent the individual causes huge problems to others (as in this case) is not to be lauded, but should be roundly condemned. This time he only broke a leg. Imagine the problems should he require abdominal or heart surgery. So we have to drop "fat jokes", gay jokes,short jokes,skinny jokes,nationalistic jokes,religious jokes,etc? PC gone bananas! Next the word "Fat" will have to be removed from the dictionary or morphed into some PC gobbledygook term. This gentleman brought all these comments on himself. Poor adipose tissue, over endowed , sensitive over intoxicated vertically challenged, balance affected individual, lies down heavily and sustains a leg fracture.This was just getting out of bed.So the weight was the prime cause of his injuries. If he hadn't the strength to drag his body to the door speaks volumes. Fat he wasn't, he was way beyond that!
