Popular and iconic as he was, Michael Jackson sadly appears to have gone down the road that Elvis went.
But maybe that is the way that it works when infuencers pray on the super rich.

He allegedly said he didn't want to die like Elvis. There are some commonalities: both were drug addicts and on the verge of bankruptcy at the time of death.
And like Elvis with the sale of music and marketing, his finances will see a posthumous revival. No doubt followed by stories on how Wacko he was, who owns what rights and protracted court cases. Not to mention how his death was faked and he's living a 'normal' life flipping burgers - "there's a guy works down the chip shop......."
Time to stop all the hype and get back to real news. Name an airport after Jackson and let's move on ASAP.

Isnt it time this emotional nonsence was put to bed, the fact is that the death of this clearly inadequate person who appeared to have an unatural interest in children will be no great loss to humanity.

3...That is only your opinion..tell that to his legions of fans and admirers...I agree that his interest in chidren was highly questionnable but the fact that you have classed him as "Inadequate" is irrelevant..many an artist, writer, poet, musician etc can have been classed as "Inadequate" by those who 'believe' themselves 'normal'...You'll find that there are those famous today who are highly sensitive...eccentric..passionate ...unusual..or "Inadequate" - makes no difference and made the man what he was...to his fans...

I quite liked Jackson during the 1980s. At that time, he looked cool and his music was brilliant, providing a welcome respite from all the pap which had the same nursery school drumbeat at that time.
It was sad to see him gradually turn the way he did.

The Daily Mash got this right:
Uri Geller, Jackson's friend and now acting King of the Freaks, said: "I feel so desperately sorry for all the freaks today. He was their Diana, their Elvis, their Mother Theresa and their Jade Goody all rolled into one. Which is actually what he looked like too. Check out this spoon."

Where was Jarvis Cocker when King of Plop fell ill? Maybe Jarvis has the smoking gun that all the conspiracy theorists desperately need.

I'm sure the doctor wouldn't be guilty of anything untoward, why would you remove your best source of income?

Because you are aware that you are in line for a substantial legacy?
It's a great pity that everything seems to be so complex as far as Michael Jackson is concerned. The poor bloke can't even do a simple thing like die without major enquiries happening all over the place.

According to the news here on the 2 autopsies of Jackson, he weighed, 112 lbs, and he wasn't short.. he had no food in his stomach, just the remainder of pills, 4 broken ribs, (probably from CPR).. he was almost bald, and his body was scarred, and filled with holes from injection sites.
They also maintain that the unpublished, filmed works will eventually get him out of debt.
All this talent reduced to this...It's a pity that no one tired to help him.

Lynne,
Where did you hear/read the autopsy info?
I think the best thing Joe Jackson can do is shut his mouth. The family is finally paying attention to the disaster that was Michael. What a pity they didn't bother while he was still alive.

I'm waiting for a credible autopsy report. I find it hard to stomach the story put forth by Dr. Murray's greaseball attorney. But, for now, I'll bite my tongue. OUCH!

Sandi,
It has been on FOX News... also, it is now coming to their (FOX) attention, that the source may be part of the "media frenzy"... so take it with a grain of salt. I came back to here to post that bit of news.
I guess, we will not know until the 2nd autopsy results are revealed.
I agree with you, the family should just remain quiet until they hear the results too. They made enough money off him during his lifetime.

As far as I know this doctor had only been with Michael
for a couple of weeks as he was hired by the company that is/was running the London tour so maybe he was unaware of all the drugs that were already in Michael's body, only a thought.
