AN exhibition of images of screen icon Marilyn Monroe taken by some of the world’s most celebrated photographers has opened.
More than 200 Monroe pictures from 39 photographers - including Richard Avedon, Gordon Parks, Robert Frank and Andy Warhol - are on view at New York’s Brooklyn Museum of Art in a new exhibition, I Want to be Loved by You: Photographs of Marilyn Monroe.

The show traces the evolution of ordinary Norma Jean into sex goddess Marilyn.
