USA: On the anniversary of film legend Marilyn Monroe's death, a former prosecutor has unveiled what he says are notes of her secret confessions to a psychiatrist that show her as anything but suicidal.
"There was no possible way this woman could have killed herself," John Miner, 86, said. He believes someone else administered the drugs that killed her.

China: Local authorities have evacuated more than 1 million people as Typhoon Matsa hit Shanghai today, killing at least one person and knocking down buildings.
