PRIVATE detectives investigating Madeleine McCann's disappearance want to speak to a man on remand in a British jail, it has emerged.
The man, who is accused of murder, is one of seven people the team hired by Madeleine's parents, Gerry and Kate, hope to interview. The little girl, from Rothley, Leicestershire, was three when she went missing while on holiday with her family in Portugal two years ago.

Clarence Mitchell, a spokesman for the McCanns, said: "A number of individuals remain as persons of interest to the Madeleine investigators."
