The Rev Ian Galloway provides a timely update of the case against Trident (Focus, 1 July): It is immoral, outdated, dangerous and expensive. Perhaps, more importantly, it doesn't protect us from nuclear attack in the modern world. The nuclear threat now comes not from rational states, but from fanatics who daily demonstrate that mutually assured suicide is not an effective deterrent.
Trident encourages others to acquire nuclear weapons and makes Britain a more attractive target to the lunatics of the world.

Doesn't it make you all warm inside knowing that you are part of the "Big Gang Bang"!!!

Doesn't it make you feel great that your "Big Bang Gang" has it in its power to accellerate GW so much that it will be over in just 24hrs!!!
