They forgot to add that he's become famous for his inane groaning of a depressing and suicidal dirge.

Whenever I head Morrisey or similar depressing guff on the radio it's gone within a couple of seconds.

Please, anyone, tell me what you like about this crap?

The Smiths had the winding lyrics of Morrissey and Marr’s great guitar hooks. Since going solo his lyrics sound like an old git and the music is very second rate.

Music is of its time and his time has been and gone. He has always baited the press and talked a load of rubbish but still, I think I’ll go home and get my ‘the Queen is Dead’ album out and remember the Smiths.

Administrator must be a bed wetting Morrissey fan as he has removed my comment for no apparent reason. Here's the link again.

I think the people with growing up to do are the ones who can't even stomach vegetarianism (I'm not a vegetarian by the way), let alone anything more controversially interesting (like Morrissey speaking freely about freedom of speech)! I also admire his independence from the press since even fair comments like those in this article get passed over by ignorant people who have too much to say and not enough to think about. If we all lived a bit more like Morrissey the world would be a better plac and if I was Morrissey I'd be fussy about my employees too Josef K!! Bed wetting? What?!!

Josef K, the reason this guy was dumped by morrissey is he is the type of person who would cry and then write an article in the times about morrissey. Moz obviously seen straight through him.
